The Asia Pacific Alliance for Disaster Management Japan (A-PAD JAPAN) was established in November 2015 as a platform in Japan for the A-PAD alliance, in order to facilitate cooperation among NGOs, business sectors, and governments when disasters happen. “The Airborne Rescue and Medical Team” is formed to save more lives in less time.
Civic Force is a disaster-focused nonprofit organization, creating a network with the public and business sectors and civil society in order to deliver emergency assistance effectively. For the March 2011 Earthquakes in Japan, Civic Force conducted emergency relief and disaster recovery activities in collaboration with approximately 600 companies, 40 nonprofit organizations and central and local governments
