【A-PAD Japan】 Kumamoto Earthquake 2026 – Emergency Response Launched

Around 4:27PM on July 28, 2026, a powerful earthquake with an estimated magnitude of 7.1 struck Kumamoto Prefecture.
Civic Force (formerly A-PAD Japan), a Japanese disaster relief organization participating in A-PAD, is collecting information on the damage in various parts of Kumamoto immediately and providing emergency relief assistance.
Given the expected prolonged period of evacuation and recovery, the team plans to support the recovery and reconstruction of the affected communities.
