On June 22 – 23, 2026, A-PAD participated in the Global Partner Forum in Washington, D.C. hosted by Airlink. The forum convened various aid organizations, airlines, logistics companies, and philanthropists to discuss the theme of “Collaboration for Impact,” focusing on partnerships in disaster response and strengthening collaboration during non-emergency times.

Firzan Hashim, Country Director of A-PAD Sri Lanka and COO of A-PAD, spoke at a session on the response to Cyclone Ditwah that struck Sri Lanka in November 2025. In the session, he presented examples of how Airlink provided logistics support, Wine to Water provided water purifiers, and how A-PAD Sri Lanka leveraged its local network to deliver assistance to affected communities.

Throughout the session, participants reaffirmed that disaster response cannot be achieved by a single organization or group alone, and that it is crucial for diverse stakeholders including businesses, airlines, logistics companies, NGOs, and local communities, to collaborate and leverage their strengths.

A-PAD will continue strengthening partnerships with various stakeholders.
