Core Activities

  • Setting-up the Regional and National Platforms – Networking with different Stakeholders and formalization of the Regional and National Platforms. The National Platform will be composed of the 3 Regional Platforms which will be established in each of the three main group of islands, namely Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
  • Capacity Building of Stakeholders (Trainings, Equipments, etc.) – The aim of these trainings is to help develop the capacity of the different stakeholders in preparing and responding to disasters. The trainees, coming from the LGUs, CSOs and Private Sector, will also serve as the pool of volunteers during emergency response.
