Aiming to raise awareness on the environmental impacts of man-made climate change, a webinar was hosted by the Sustainable Development Studies program of Mindanao State University, Philippines. Mr. Firzan Hashim, the Country Director of A-PAD Sri Lanka, was invited as a guest speaker to discuss the dire effects of the climate crisis on environmental sustainability. The session began with a brief overview on understanding future climate situations. This highlighted the need for international cooperation and partnerships to advance our understanding of the multi-scale, dynamic interactions between natural and social systems.
