A magnitude 5.6 earthquake struck Indonesia’s Java Island on November 21, 2022. According to Indonesia’s National Agency for Disaster Countermeasures (BNPB), 271 people have been found dead and 40 are still missing as of November 24. A-PAD began situational assessments immediately after the disaster. In partnership with a local partner organization, Doctor Share, A-PAD is providing medical care and emergency relief items for the affected residents.
