The large quantum of sanitary napkins provided by Hemas Group was a massive gap filled. Ministry of Disaster Management had received many requests from districts for the specific items. By A-PAD coordination, 7,200 sanitary napkins were delivered to displaced people in Kegalle District in the collaboration with NDRS on 17^th May. 4,800 sanitary napkins were delivered to Puttalam District and 4,800 sanitary napkins to Kaduwela and 4,524 to Kollonnawa in Colombo District.

A-PAD SL requested for member corporate volunteers. Head of Group Sustainability & Corporate Communications at Hemas Holdings, Ms Shiromi Masakorale with three of her staff assisted A-PAD SL office which eased the rush. The volunteers actively participate in packaging relief items for dissemination and teamwork enabled to ease workload when it seemed overwhelming.
