A-PAD welcomed a special guest from its partner organization in Turkey, GEA, on September 27. Mr.Umut Dincsahin visited A-PAD’s Tokyo Office to discuss their search and rescue operations during the devastating earthquake that struck southern and central Turkey in February 2023.

 

Back in April, shortly after the earthquake, A-PAD and GEA held an online event for students in Saga to learn about the aftermath of the disaster. The students raised funds for children in Turkey and A-PAD presented the donations to Mr. Umut.
