A-PAD Sri Lanka hosts a water rescue training annually in Sri Lanka but last year’s training was canceled due to the pandemic. This year, A-PAD sent seven experts and hosted a training for 17 trainees. Although 70% of natural disasters in Sri Lanka are flood-related, it was the first time using ropes in the training.

The training was featured on the local television broadcast.
