2014.06.18

チラシ

We are pleased to announce that, on the occasion of the 6th AMCDRR that will be held in Bangkok this month, APADM is holding a side event entitled “Win-win partnership between the private and CSO sectors in disaster management through networking and regional alliance”. Presentations will be given by key members of APADM representing Indonesia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, South Korea, Japan and Bangladesh. The speakers will consider what kind of roles the private sector can play in establishing a ‘win-win’ partnership with the public and CSO sectors in disaster risk reduction, by presenting current practices and future plans to accelerate multisector collaboration. As one of the main recommendations during the 4th Global Platform in 2013 in Geneva, we would like to share with you each of our member countries’ experience in “Strengthening the role of the private sector in DRR”. We would like to hold discussions in a participatory manner regarding lessons learned, challenges, and positive feedback.

It would be a great pleasure to have you with us and to invite you to participate actively at the above-mentioned side event, which will be held
