Pre-registration for A-PAD’s Public Forum event at the 3rd WCDRR is now open

On the occasion of the 3rd UN World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction, which will be held in Sendai City from March 14-18 2015, Asia Pacific Alliance for Disaster Management (A-PAD) will hold the Public Forum event “The forefront of disaster response with private sector partnership: Innovations to achieve disaster risk reduction, response, and reconstruction beyond sectors and national borders”. The event aims to discuss?good practices on how corporations, NGOs, and government agencies have worked together and seamlessly conducted disaster preparedness, response, and reconstruction activities as well as think about the mechanism required and the possibility of a multisector collaboration in DRR.
Representatives of companies and NGOs involved in disaster relief from five Asian countries will come together at this occasion, and so we very much welcome those interested in cross-sector collaboration in DRR, private sector involvement, NGO partnerships, public-private partnerships among others to come and join us on March 14, 2015. ?“The forefront?of disaster response with private sector?partnership: Innovations to achieve?disaster risk reduction, response, and?reconstruction beyond sectors and national?borders”
