【A-PAD Philippines】 Mindanao Earthquake – Organizing Aid Operations

Assessments on the ground (as of June 12, 2026)

As of June 12, 2026, 55 deaths, 1,120 injuries, and 31 missing persons have been reported, and search and rescue operations are still ongoing in the hardest-hit areas. The number of people affected has reached approximately 392,806 (86,135 households), of which about 10,000 are forced to live in evacuation shelters, while many others are staying with relatives or friends.

A number of the damaged homes have reached 19,095 (3,485 completely destroyed, 15,610 partially destroyed), and emergency response efforts are underway in Sarangani province and General Santos city. Some major roads and bridges have been repaired and power restoration is progressing in most areas.

A-PAD Philippines’ Response

A-PAD Philippines has been continuously conducting needs assessments and emergency response since immediately after the disaster.

The team is working with local chambers of commerce and human resource networks (HRN-SOX) to identify the most urgent and necessary support in Sarangani Province and General Santos City. The team is also preparing humanitarian aid campaigns and working to strengthen collaboration with businesses, civil society organizations, and volunteer networks.
