As reported on 6th March, 30 more water tanks with taps have been delivered to the locations identified in Uduvil, Sandilipay and Changanai DS divisions (10 each). To-date 50 water tanks have been placed in Uduvil, Thellipalai, Sandilipay and Changani DS divisions. Water supplied via bowsers to each water tank will be used by the communities for drinking, cooking and hygiene purpose and 30-40 families will benefit from each 1000 litre tank.
