The APADM Management Office is currently hiring for the following positions based in Tokyo, Japan with overseas trips to Asia Pacific countries.

1. Program Coordinator

The program coordinator will be responsible for overall program coordination of APADM’s activities in enhancing multi sector national platforms on disaster management in Asia Pacific countries. Responsibilities include project management , project planning, communications with partner organizations in the Asia Pacific region, proposal writing, and donor relations among others.

Employment type: Contractual

Contract duration: 3 months with possibility of renewal (probation period for the first 3 months)

Start date: January 2015

End date: March 2015

Language requirements: Must have business level skills in Japanese and English

2. Accounting Officer

The accounting officer will be responsible for the financial affairs of APADM’s activities in enhancing multi sector national platforms on disaster management in Asia Pacific countries. Responsibilities include accounting of overseas projects, drafting of financial reports and detailed statements, providing guidance on accounting matters to local partner organizations, auditing, assistance in event organizing (e.g. international conference) among others.

Employment type: Contractual

Contract duration: 3 months with possibility of renewal (probation period for the first 3 months)

Start date: January 2015

End date: March 2015

Language requirements: Must have business level skills in Japanese and English
