On December 9, 2021, the A-PAD Liaison Office in Nepal held an online kick-off meeting with an implementation partner, Youth Development Center (YDC), and signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU). YDC and A-PAD affirmed a long-term partnership and developed a work plan for disaster resource map and volunteer training. 

Based in Itahari, Sunsari District, YDC was established in 2007 to provide volunteers in emergencies and train young entrepreneurs. A-PAD collaborated with YDC during the floods in November 2021 and distributed relief items. 

The signing of the MoU marks the second partnership agreement with local organizations. A-PAD’s activities in Nepal are well underway!
