Asia Pacific Alliance for Disaster Management (A-PAD) is set to host an event at the Public Forum during?the 3rd World Conference on Disaster Risk?Reduction, which will be held in Sendai City,?Japan ?in March 2015. The event?aims to support the?dialogue between various?sectors, especially the?private sector, with regards to collaboration?in DRR. The title of the event is “The forefront?of disaster response with private sector?partnership: Innovations to achieve?disaster risk reduction, response, and?reconstruction beyond sectors and national?borders” and will feature speakers from Japan’s civil society and business world and representatives from A-PAD member countries.

It will be held on March 14, 2015 at the Sendai City Information & Industry Plaza?Seminar Hall (2) from 13:30 to 15:30. APAD?will also set-up an exhibition booth at?Sendai Mediatheque which will run?throughout the Conference week.
