This award serves as high recognition for the disaster relief cooperation framework A-PAD has built across national and organizational boundaries. The system is being honored as a leading model for its significant contributions to regional safety and reconstruction. 

A-PAD is built on the proactive involvement of its member countries and this focus on local ownership secures the sustainability of its relief efforts. In addition to emergency relief assistance, A-PAD coordinates with the private sector and other stakeholders to offer end-to-end support that spans from the moment of crisis to reconstruction.
