In collaboration with A-PAD SL, the meeting was held on June 22, 2023 at the Faculty of Arts, University of Colombo. The purpose of the meeting was to host a discussion on “Climate Action: A Multi-disciplinary Approach,” which aimed to provide practical knowledge on climate action and empower youth leaders to build community resilience.

The panel discussion covered various topics related to climate action including sustainable energy solutions, community resilience, and the role of education in promoting environmental consciousness. Each panelist shared their expertise and experiences in addressing climate challenges.

The networking session facilitated productive discussions among faculty members including the dean, heads of departments, panelists, and representatives from A-PAD. The main focus was to explore practical measures for the university to adopt climate-friendly practices in its day-to-day operations.
