A-PAD Sri Lanka Country Director, Mr. Firzan Hashim was invited as one of the guests on Live TV Talk program called “Face the Nation” on 23 April to discuss Disaster Preparedness, Disaster Risk Reduction and Disaster Management in the country. Sri Lanka has floods and landslides causing several hundred casualties and hundred thousands of displaced people each year.

Mr. Hashim represented the NGO and the private sector collaboration platform and emphasized the importance of coordination among different stakeholders for disaster preparedness and response.
