Director General of the Disaster Management Centre, Major General L B R Mark launches the A-PAD Sri Lanka website www.apadsl.org at the Network Meeting held at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce on Thursday the 28th of May 2015.

The Asia Pacific Alliance for Disaster Management Sri Lanka (A-PAD SL) launched its website yesterday, the 28th of May 2015, at the Network Meeting held at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce in Colombo. The launch was officiated by the Director General of the Disaster Management Centre, Major General L B R Mark. Also in attendance were A-PADs private sector, NGO and civil society members with the event being presided over by Mr Jeevan Thiagarajah, Executive Director of the Consortium of Humanitarian Agencies, Mr Firzan Hashim, Deputy Executive Director of the Consortium of Humanitarian Agencies and Mr Mangala Yapa, the Secretary General of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce. The website will henceforth carry an overview of A-PAD SL activities and its membership.
