Following a request to the A-PAD membership late July for sanitary goods, medication and rations for 12 men of low-income backgrounds that were electrocuted in Colombo late June following the crashing of a flag pole onto a high-power electric cable, Central Finance PLC, an active member of A-PAD Sri Lanka responded generously with a donation of 12 ration and relief packs containing around five items of immediate necessity for the victims. The packs included a mosquito net, bed sheet, bottle of Betadine solution, roll of crepe bandage and a tin of Sustagen energy supplement for each of the twelve men.
