A-PAD SL was able to amass the collective support of the membership to coordinate a donation of non-food and ration packs for the victims of the horrific tragedy that befell Orugodawatte in late June when a flagpole crashed into a high-power electric cable, severely injuring 13 and leaving one dead.

The non-food items donated by Central Finance PLC and dry ration packs given by Cargills Ceylon PLC at a concessionary rate were handed over to the victims and their families in a ceremony held at the Grama Sevaka’s Office in Orugodawatte on Friday the 18th of September 2015.
