Prof Dr. Quazi Quamruzzaman Best Paediatric Surgeon Gold Award-2016 Awarded

Muhammad Nasim, Health Minister of Bangladesh Government, inaugurated The 3rd International Congress and 5th annual congress of APSB ( Association of Paediatric  Surgeons of Bangladesh) was held in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University on 11 and 12 December while Abdul Aziz, President, APSB was in the chair. On this occasion, Prof Dr. Quazi Quamruzzaman Best Pediatric Surgeon Gold Award-2016 was awarded.

The award named after Dr. Quazi Quamruzzaman, the Freedom Fighter and founder of the APSB, and currently he is Chairman of Dhaka Community Hospital Trust. Abul Kalam Azad, Director General, Directorate of General Health Services ; Md. Sharfuddin Ahmed, Pro-Vice Chancellor, BSMMU; M Iqbal Arsalan, Secretary General, BMA; Abdul Hanif, General Secretary APBS, addressed the inauguration session.
