On November 21, 2022, a deadly earthquake struck western Java in Indonesia and the death toll (including missing persons) reached 343 people. Over 56,000 houses in 169 villages were destroyed and 559 health and education facilities were damaged, leaving more than 110,000 people in evacuation

A-PAD Indonesia supported 12,313 households in 5 villages focusing on temporary housing, water supply, and livelihood. A one-year monitoring report was published on December 19, 2023.
