【A-PAD Indonesia】 Emergency Assistance – Flooding in Lombok Island
2021.12.12
On December 6, 2021, torrential rain caused flash floods on Lombok Island in Indonesia. The sudden rise in water level and landslides displaced many local residents.
A-PAD Indonesia began our needs assessment immediately following the disaster. The team found that there are several isolated villages receiving little outside assistance. There is also a need for clothing for women and small children and for kitchen tools. A-PAD staff based in Lombok are working with local municipalities, businesses, and NGOs to provide emergency assistance.
More details will follow soon.
