2026.03.27
In February 2026, A-PAD Bangladesh conducted Emergency Medical Response Network Training across four districts – Dhaka, Cox’s Bazar, Pabna, and Patukhali. This initiative brought a diverse group of stakeholders including doctors and nurses from local hospitals, fire service medical staff, the International Red Cross, and community volunteers to exchange disaster medical response capabilities and strengthen regional coordination.
The main objective of this training was to improve the capacity for swift and effective medical intervention during disasters or mass casualty incidents while simultaneously fortifying cooperation among local partners. Participants deepened their understanding of the emergency medical response network system, clarified their respective roles and responsibilities, and acquired practical, life-saving skills.
