2016.06.17

Asia Pacific Alliance for Disaster Management Sri Lanka (A-PAD SL) in its many response to victims of floods and landslides initiated mobile eye clinics following a plea from a student, Master Sadev Hirusha  of Rajasinghe Maha Vidyalaya, Kotikawatte, having lost his spectacles in the recent floods where his entire house was submerged by water for days.

A-PAD having connected with the local temple priest of Mulleriyawa initiated the mobile eye clinic at the Rajasinghe Maha Vidyalaya, Kotikawatte where Master Hirusha was attending school. It came to light there were many students and teachers who have lost their spectacles due to the floods.
