A-PAD SL sent out appeals to its members and Ceylon Chamber of Commerce too sent appeals linking A-PAD SL Platform. The relief items are being received by many corporates and individuals including financial contributions at the Gower Street premised as a collection point. Such generous corporates include HSBC, CDB, Alpha Travels and Holidays, Central Finance, Ceylon Tobacco Company, FORUT-RAHAMA, Goldi Sands Hotels, HEMAS, Hotel Heritance Ayurveda Mahagedra, Monday 7878, NKAR Travels and Tours, Quickshaws, Shan Teas, HSBC, Expolanka, etc. so far. Most of the donated goods have been already delivered to the affected people and some are in the process of delivery.

All donations received and inquires by so many companies and individuals are appreciated. Cash donations both by corporates and individuals are treated with upmost respect and will be utilized to ensure direct impact on affected populations. A-PAD SL seeks to deliver directly to beneficiaries and in coordination with the government/local government authorities. Consultation with affected communities will be continues.
