Asia Pacific Alliance for Disaster Management (A-PAD) members representing Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka addressed an audience of Parliamentarians and special invitees of the private sector and civil society at the national Assembly Memorial Hall in Seoul, South Korea. Addresses and presentations from the Chairman, CEO and A-PAD country members highlighted A-PADs strength, diversity and uniqueness in Disaster management in the Asia Pacific Region. The deliberations led to the agreement of creating a Platform for Parliamentarians in the Asia Pacific Region  for Disaster Management in collaboration with A-PAD.
